Lily of the Valley Lamp Project

When I was a child, my mom grew lily-of-the-valley flowers alongside the house. They have a distinctive smell, and it was one of my mom’s favorite flowers. I created this lamp in remembrance of her.

I spent about three years designing and testing this lamp. Hopefully, anyone with a 3-D printer can print the needed parts, assemble with the included hardware and electronics, and make this stunning lamp. Check out the manual to see if you’re up to the challenge. A printed one is included, too.

Once you order the project, you can the download the STL files, fire up your 3-D printer and print all the parts! Your dialed in printer should have a build volume of at least 180 mm³. You’ll need about 400 grams of filament—60gms in white (or your preference) for the shades, and 340gms for the base, leaf, and rest of the pieces.

Please make sure your printer is dialed in. Print this stl coin test to check your printer for accuracy. A coin needs to pass through the holes so that the hardware will fit.
